I finally got around to replacing my h2o pump. That was a pretty big deal for me. I got it on and placed most of the accesories, but there are two spacers I can't seem to figure out. It seems like the flange on the new pump (a zone)is bigger than the old. I tried different configs and now don't know what to do. I'm pleased to have gotten this far! any suggestions? thanks in advance.

the spacers sometimes are place between the brackets they are placed there to make an open space solid so you don't bend the bracket

Possible that they are spacers for the alternator mounting brackets?

they were for the alternator bracket....
since it seems like the space is different (normal???) should I fill the smaller gap with washers or are the bolts easy to find in different legnths? I would think not. duno.
thanks again

If it is a bracket spacing problem, just fill the space with washers. The original spacer is just a real thick washer.

Don't see why that wouldn't work, just check clearance for the pulleys and belts.
