I have the 4" skyjacker kit for my 87 wag and I am FINALLY getting to installing it. I thought I had gotten brake lines but didn't DOH!! Now 4wheelparts tells me 5-8 days to get them. I need to get this done this weekend.
Can I install the kit now and drive it on the street until I get extended brake lines??
TIA
Kerry
Negative..you shouldn't need them, but since you are working on the project, why not get em?
You should be able to use the stock ones for a 77 Chevy Suburban or Blazer (they are 19.5 inches long and should bolt right in) at your local auto parts store.
Stock OEM parts that are custom for your jeep! :D
PS I am running 4" SUperlift with stock lines and have been doing it for 3-4 years (offroad included) not to say it is a good idea....but for what its worth...

You don't need them, but it is a good idea.... I made drop-down brackets and have had no problems at all for the front.
The rear you can install a longer bolt at the 'T' and space it up about 3" if you want...I did.

When I put on my 4" skyjacker lift I didn't swap out the brake lines. The front is fine but the back is a little streched. I plan to replace the back line (single in the middle) once I get around to it. Of course it's been about a year and half so any day now I'll get going. I'll probably put in disconnects for the front stablizer also... I fully expect to get to both of these projects within the next few years smile.gif

Mine was stretched in the back so I just took a couple of the bolts off that held it to the axle. I don't know if that's bad but I havn't had any prob's.
