Who else sells the gauge overlay so I can mount the new gauges I just got? It is the two 3 3/8" and four 2 1/16" hole version.....

Thanks - I like to support places like BJ's, but that might be my last order from them.

Z&M Jeep might carry them.

Would be great if someone has a link......the Z&M site is very difficult to navigate and find what you're looking for.

z&m jeeps do carry the overlays, and from what ive seen a more diverse selection. that being said i just got my sway bar disconnects and shackle bushings in today after a 3 week wait. but it was worth it to support a small company like that. granted it would be nice if they called or even had a "in stock" marker on their website to tell you they have to order them from the manufacturer first and they have to make them. but working at a small family owned bussiness i understand the logistical nightmare it can be. some time you dont have time or the money to do that. it was well worth the wait for the parts and thanks matt for dealing with it for me. will continue to buy from bjs :fsj:

It is simply unacceptable to not, at very least, notify your customer that there will be a wait on an item. I don't care how small or busy you are. That is not acceptable in any form. I have several problems with BJs, unfortunately they are the only option for a lot of our stuff so they get away with it.

Send Zack (zmjeeps) a message. http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/member.php?u=219 or give him a call. I believe he is the mfg of them, unless BJ's found somebody else to make them. He has a stack of them on a work bench in his shop, at least he did when I was there at the M&G earlier in the summer.

Don't get me started on BJ's. I have spent over a grand with them this year.
I ordered Novac parts from BJ's to again support the Jeep guys. I went as far as to call Novac before I placed the order as I was on a tight schedule.
Novac would have shipped the same day I placed the order. BJ's didnt ship for a week and after repeated calls to BJ's I get a call telling me they had an accounting issue with Novac that caused the delay.
At this point I was out of time and options so I told BJ's to go ahead and process the order.
Two weeks later still and no parts..... I called BJ's and received a credit back to my card.

Hard to blame BJ's when the guy 1st says hes upset with BJs and asks for a new vendor. When he is given a new site to try he cant be bothered to look for the part and wants others to find and post a link for him. Seems to me patience is NOT his best quality.

Quite the opposite. I know exactly to what he is referring in both instances. I've dealt a great deal with BJs and will likely do so again, though I do so as sparingly as possible. They stay in business due to a monopoly on a particular market, not because of their phenomenal customer support. As to Z&M - Zack is a great guy and has done a ton for the FSJ (and smaller Jeep) community. His website is definitely a work in progress though. :) A call to him is far easier than trying to track down something on the site.

As a first time user to BJ's,
Zero issue.
Asked if all the items wanted were in stock, then made the order.

Order tracking info sent by BJ's, no surprises.
Thinking about a twin stick and the timing cover next.

I have ordered several times from BJ's. Never had a big problem. One order they were out of stock/item discontinued on an item and didn't tell me when it shipped. That is the only problem I have ever had with them.

I will order from BJ's again if they have what I need for the price I am willing to pay.

I have also ordered from Z&M. Took for ever to get my harness, but they kept me informed every step of the way. I would not hesitate to order from them either.

I have ordered several times from BJ's without a problem but it was not for fabbed stuff. I agree any business should noitfy their customers of a delay on parts if their is a backordered part though. Just my 2 cents :)
