I cut off the front bumper last week. It is made of 12" channel, with 2" .250 wall 2" tube for the uprights, the cross sections are 1/2 X 1.5" rectangle tube:eek: The reciever is welded on both sides with 3 pieces of 3/8 X 3" FB for gussets. I cant pick it up by myself. Sombody put allot of work into it, But its WAY more than im willing to work with.
I have A dodge CAD 60 front axle that I bought for 200$ a month or so ago that im probably going to use up front:thumbsup: Thats why I was looking spring info in another post:thumbsup: I am doing some looking around for A diesel engine of some sort:confused:
Just some starter stuff:D

My wife picked the rig and asked me to work with it. She also chose the colors, I just painted it. Later I was really not happy with the scout 1/2 V8 4cyl motor. So I told her that the only way I could work on this POS was to put A V8 sbc with A 400/20. An area that I was used to in my FSJs:rolleyes:

That's a really straight body on that Scout. Looks like you have done a few cool projects. Can't wait to see how the M715(is that what it is?) turns out. What are the plans for it?
