78 360 Two barrel upgrade

I have a two barrel carb on my 78 J10 and i am looking to upgrade to a four barrel. I have seen adapters that will fit a four barrel carb to a two barrel intake. I need to know how well these work or if they work at all. Also if anyone knows how many CFM the stock carb on a 1978 360 two barrel would have i would love for you to share that with me. Thank you!

The adaptor basically kills any real benifit from the 4 barrel. A Holley 500 cfm two barrel is a great and simple upgrade without having to swap out the intake manifold.

I second the Holley 500. Had one on a 304, made gobs of power. It was in a Javelin, and I regularly smoked the 4-barrel 350 Chevies. Used to love showing them my "2-barrel" after the race!!!

Wow! That sounds like exactly what I need! Where can you get the holly 500cfm 2bbl? I didn't really want to go through the manifold change-out.
