Does anybody know who sells the (Jeep) decals for a 1980 J-10 pick-up tailgate?

I don't think Jeep used decals on the tailgate, as near as I can tell they just
used a roller (given the texture of the paint) to hit the tops of the JEEP letters.

Yes,there are some decals that go over the "Jeep" letters on the tail gate. They come in Black, White, or chrome. I have white ones that I found about 5-7 yrs. a go on my tail gate now. I just can't find them anywhere now. Does anybody know where I can find them?

I found some Golden Eagle model decals here.
No such luck on the trucks though.
If you were to find the original decals I believe that the adhesive would be below par. I'm surprised you were able to adhere the decals you found a few years ago.

As of now, my plans will be to paint the same decal design on my Honcho.

you should be able to find someone to do that for you. just look for someone that does vinyl lettering, in the phone book
