Has the desert gone this quiet? it seems like nobody is doing anything or won't be for a while. Are we going to have another meetup?

The Route 66 days car show is September 10th in downtown flagstaff, it's good fun, you should see my thread on it in this section! :D As for trail runs, I've kinda run out of new trails to do.

It's never quiet if you know where to look. I get out at least once a month. Either in my J10 or CJ5. Going to Crown King Saturday. If everyone just wants to run "new" trails it would get quiet real fast. Something new always pops up on old trails.

I'm quiet do to heat and the chero needing a balencer.The bad part is the cool weather starts moving in next month and it'll be every few weekends tring to get out.

Money is too tight for that luxury at this time. Hope to change that soon. ;)

I may take my j10 downtown for the car show. I also Might be up for some wheeling soon.

Too warm to wheel. Plus I need new springs as mine are starting to bend the wrong way. I sure don't need one to break out on the trail...

Bob's got some bumpers and such almost finished so once I bolt those on and weigh the truck I can figure out springs. I hope to be doing a lot of whee'n in the fall and winter months.

Flint and Krista normally show up the week of Thanksgiving and we do a trip out then.

Anybody planning on going to the car show in Flag?

We have both of ours entered (this is the one in September - yes?). There are a couple of other AMC guys bringing theirs up from the Valley of the Sun. As far as I know, Matt's Wagoneer is the only FSJ entered. They are almost sold out, so it you're interested , get your entry in. If you don't enter and come up to see the show, please stop by and say hello.

BTW...all of about 80 here in Flagstaff today and overcast. Cool and nice. There are lots of forest trails up this way - like up to the top of Mount Elden (that's a bit challenging). I think we're going to go to Stoneman Lake tomorrow - not a rough trip, but a pretty one.
