I was thinking of removing my sway bar for increased articulation on my stock 77 and wanted to know if this is safe as a daily driver and i will soon be giving the lil bastard an SOA and 3" body lift and wondered if this was still going to be a safe practice with the lift.I think RiverBeast never had one but am not sure.thanx.

My '78 got a SOA, and I removed the swaybar at the time, never did get around to reinstalling it, and yes it was a daily driver. With good shocks, you will do okay, but don't expect a sports car. I towed trailers too and never had any probs, just was very aware that I should slow down in the corners. Best bet is to use quick disconnects and keep your swaybar if you can for a daily driver.

Articulation IS great tho!!!!!!!! :D :D

My old '74 Waggie did not have asway bar while my new(ish) '88 GW has one. I did a 4" lift and used quick disconnects. Usually the vehicle tends to "wallow" a bit more on the road. With a SOA and taller springs - pay close attention to wheel alignment and keep that sway bar connected or at least get some stiff shocks.
