I've got a 78J10 Q-track T400. The front drive shaft CV joint let loose of the T-case yoke busting the corner of the tranny pan and seating surface on the tranny casing. Big leak! can it be fixed?
HELP!

Try JB weld or some epoxy specically for aluminum and sand it flush.

OUCH! How big is the leak? I would have to agree and say try the JB weld and then sand it down. Once again, OUCH!

if that dont work, bust out the duct tape and bubble gum!
i actually had the same thing happen to me once, but the driveshaft didnt take out that big of a chunk out of the tranny itself,i just smoothed it out,and replaced the pan,and the gasket was thick enough to take up any differences and it didnt leak. i cant imagine it being bad enough that you cant fix it with jb weld or epoxy, like the guys said. just get the tranny good and clean and free of any tranny fluid/dirt before putting it on.
