just got her running

i took me all day but i got her running. I just spent 2100 on the trans and then she wouldnt stay running after i put her in to gear so i changed the plugs and then i had to make it idle high to keep it running when i put her in gear. but she runs. I'm going to replace all the vac hose tom. but i dont know what eles it could be? any help plz

new vacuum lines never hurt. I did that once to mine long ago and it was like a new motor when I refired it.
Then there was the other one that I tried that simple trick on and wasted my time because it had about every gasket failing on it as well. It is still down waiting for a rebuild.
Good luck. If you are interested in basically a new dist cap with plug wires(about 1000 miles on them) as well as a new coil(still in box) let me know. I bought these for my 77 401 but after the rebuild they will no longer be needed.
I'll even throw in lots of spare wire sets (low mileage, Iconverted to TFI on the 81 shortly after install). $25 shipped to you.
