i have one of the smittybuilt grilleguards to install this weekend my question is its suppose to mount to 2 of the bumper bolts and to the 2 leaf spring hanger nuts the directions say back nut off pound bolt back till guard fits in place put nut back on .on my truck the nut side is on the inside closest to center can this bolt come out and be turned around so nut is outside ? is there an easy way of doing this in the driveway?i think i can support it with jacks but once i pull bolt wont everything shift and getting it lined back up be a pain in the @#$%? any suggestions?

support truck by jack stands, then put floor jack under where the leaf connects to the front axle...jack up until bolt comes out easily.....no reason why bolt can not be flipped around..

i am one of the lucky ones to have a 4wd parts dealer 5mi from home that deals with strictly jeeps the guard is made for these trucks he gave it to me for $79. i couldnt turn that down i think i saw one in jcwhitney for around $170.

I've got the same thing on my truck. Easy install except I had to change to the three piece bumper. Won't fit the later model bumpers. Looks great!

I did not see your year. I am actually a lucky one who sells 4wd parts and accessories.....that is why I was dumbfounded...I have called every manufacturer and all of them told me the same thing.... "sorry, discontinued" so, If you can give me a part number, or even the name and number of the place you bought it from, I would like to get more info.

I offer things to people here at cost.

just need a cc# to drop ship.
