The Cascade Rambler Club is hosting a AMC car show in Bonney Lake, WA on Saturday, August 27th from 9am to 3pm at the Swiss Sportsman's Club Park.

We should invade the car show and do a FSJ take over!!!! It doesn't sound like there are many AMC Jeeps going and would be pretty cool to have our own FSJ corner. I'm gunna go!

You can get the registeration form from their website: http://www.cascaderamblers.org/R2011Info.pdf

Don't worry how your SJ looks either, if it's parked next to mine then yours will look great! lol

Who's coming with me???

Not sure, will have to check with the club and see.

I think I might have a banner made up promoting the IFSJA. Would be cool to get a bunch of us out there to make a presence!

Here's a email reply I got from the Cascade Rambler's club president:

You are quite welcome to participate. Below is a listing of this years catagories. I know it looks a lot like there aren't many Jeep related slots, but they don't often come out en masse' so we have to go by past history. Cascade Ramblers is open to pretty much anything in the AMC ancestry, although as you no doubt know since Jeeps have many of their own clubs we typically don't see them much. We absorbed the old AMC Northwest club when it folded a few years ago, (my car is a 71 Javelin) and that includes Nash and Hudson's as well.
Parking this year is going to be fairly random first come first parked as the show field is grass and fairly large. But if you show up as a group I don't see a problem with you all staying together. Not sure about a banner. Registration day of show is fine, but unfortunately due to caterers concerns we are only able to have paid pre-registers at the awards banquet. Please check for details about that on the form linked on the website.

If you want to help all the better. I have to pull the old engine out and drop in a runner I found. Any experience is appreciated, and specialty tools too. I got the beer!

I think perhaps we should plan for a 2012 Invasion.. With enough time, i reckon a fair few of us can make it.. maybe even come in groups for a designated spot in time.

I'd like to get a contingent together for Ouray 2012. It was seriously one of the best trips I've ever gone on. We've got half a year; that should be more than enough time for all of us to band together and fix everybody's rigs, lol.

It's in the southwest corner of Colorado. Ouray is a nifty little town, proclaimed "Switzerland of the Rockies", with a natural hot springs and LOTS of cool old jeep trails connecting it with Telluride, Durango, Silverton and tons of ghost towns and semi-ghost towns. It's the original FSJ mecca.

I grew up in western CO and made it to the 04 Ouray invasion, and in 2012, I plan to get married there.:D

Clinton (nw_upstart) is going to be in charge of the bachelor party.
