I've been trying to figure out why my 4wd indictor light won't work. I got another 4wd indicator from another GW and before removing the old one from the transfer case, I connnected the new one to the electrical connectors and found that the 4wd indicator light was on in the dash. So it must be a bad indicator, right? Wrong. When I replaced the old one with the new one that just worked and put the GW in 4wd, no light. What gives?
I know the 4wd works on the wag although I can't shift from high to low (another topic), so is something else wrong with the transfer case or is there maybe a short somewhere?
