   I snapped the air injection tube bolts off on the drivers side exhaust manifold. I used a wheel grider to grind the bolts flush with the manifold. The bolts were hollow so I have a 1/8" to 1/4" holes where the new tap needs to be. Question: Whats the best way to tap a new thread in these buggars?!!!! No room....everythings in my way......cant get a good angle on it to drill it out........my dog died.....my girl left me....my house foreclosed......but seriously, how am I supposed to tap new holes here if i want to reinstall a air injection manifold?   The engine is still in the car by the way.

As much as you do not want to, you really need to remove the manifold to properly remove the old bolts and retap. I don't think there is anyway to get any sort of drill or tap in the close confines in the engine bay. I think you will find that the total time to drill out and retap the holes will be greatly reduced by removing the manifold from the engine.
