I don't have much padding of my own on my butt, so I know when something's soft or not. My wag is my most comfortable vehicle to ride in out of my whole family: Astro minivan, Chevy Lumina, Crysler Sebring Convt, & my vehicles. Are Mustang seats that much more comfortable than the Wag seats? Or is the swap done for another reason that I'm not aware of?

It is an inexpensive and easy way to get high back buckets or just replace worn seats. As far as comfort, they are not bad, but I like my FREE Lincoln overstuffed armchairs. They were a bit more work though. I think that they were easy too!

I did this swap last year (no website about it then though!) i've got 87 Stang seats in the waggy, beautiful seats! Power lumbar (but not yet wired in, hard finding an 80amp breaker) the side/knee bolsters REALLY keep you in place while wheeling! and the adjustments make them extremely comfortable!

I didn't drill anything, but I did weld the sliders to the seat (holes were almost bolt up, would just have had to make them more of an oblong shape) welding seemed soo much quicker http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

That oblong hole would be called a slot http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif And that is about all that would have to be done.
