Engine paint

Does any body know the correct paint color for Buick 350 V-8 in my '69 Wagoneer. It looks like it is red, but could be orange.

I don't know about correct paint, but I've always painted all my engines black. It helps radiate heat and they run cooler. But it doesn't look as good as the factory color.

if it is a chevy engine it is supposed to be orange, if it is the buick 350, which i am not sure if they put the buick 350 in a '69, i think it is supposed to be a blue color.

EEEEK!! Its red its red, not Chevy orange. I am trying to locate the Buick red so if I ever find it I will let you know.
