I'm taking Schnebly hill road into Sedona to do Broken Arrow this weekend. Anyone who wants to come show up at the start of Schnebly hill road off I-17 where the dirt starts.

I'm doing the steps this time. The last time I didn't and had a few small hits to the tailpipe, trailer hitch, and skid plate. Well, the hitch can take it (3/8 inch steel), the tailpipe has been cut back shorter so it doesn't hit, and the skid plate is beefier than it came factory. This combined with betetr driving should do me fine.

I would love to but am busy.

Broken Arrow is one of my favorite trails. You can clear the bump with your stock suspension?

I can clear the bump going in. But leaving the trail it bottoms out on the trailer hitch. No biggie. Broken Arrow is about all this Jeep could do.

I just got back from my run on BA. As I said, I decided to try the steps this time. Unfortunately, it started to leak transmission fluid from the dipstick tube somewhere near merry go round rock. I stopped, repaired the leak and decided to turn back rather than push my luck on the steps. Maybee someday I'll do the steps. The rest of the trail went smoothly, the only thing I bottomed out on was the trailer hitch, which I hit 3 or 4 times, but it can take it and I don't plan on ever using it anyway, so it works as a skid plate to protect the bumper. At chicken point, 4 or 5 Pink Jeep Tours (Pinkies) full of tourists blocked me from getting out. Pics coming soon.
