When I changed fluid in my manual trans, this happened. Have any idea why?
Beast was level and I only started working under the truck 15-20 minutes after I stopped driving it, plenty of time for fluids to run back to the bottom. I know the dif between the fill plug and drain plug...
(On the good side, tcase and trans fluids were both black/dirty and they both needed TLC. Got bot diffs earlier, so I'm riding smoother overall. Shifter rods finally greased where they are operable. Except for splitting my lip in half something ugly I'm getting to FSJ NIRVANA one baby step at a time...)

Hey Brent, water is heavier than oil. It can raise your oil level. But your oil would be milky and you could pretty much tell it was contaminated. Just one of the things that can raise the level... Hopefully it's as simple as an overfill...
