Rear window

Hey Guys, Today my rear window exploded. The whole system sucks pretty bad, the switch is pretty crappy and i would like to put a window in that swings upwards, like that on a cap for a truck bed, has anyone done this before or does anyone have any good ideas on finding a replacement window.

I've considered this very swap myself. I would just drive to a custom cap shop and have them size up a window for you. It shouldn't be too hard to create a sufficient sealing surface around the perimeter, and just mount the window on hinges that fold down from the top metal. A real cool way to do it would be with frameless heavy-gauge lexan, with the rubber wipe strip at the bottom.

Interesting idea. New glass (shorter), some sort of flange & seal, some support struts. Keep thnking and keep us posted.
