new engine question - oil in air breather

I recently put in a reman engine. I installed a mild comp cam. Everything is running fine. The only thing is that I am getting oil in my air breather from the oil fill tube. Will a bad PCV valve cause this? Any suggestion would be great.

Yes, it is possible, or the rings are not yet seated and you may have some blowby untill they do. Hope the ring gaps were Staggered if not that could be fun.

How long until they seat?

Thanks for the response. Oh BTW how did the quarter panels work? Was your body man able to adapt them to your wag? Just curious.
