I was having a hard time raising and lowering the rear window glass in my GW. When I took off the inspection plate and took a look I found that the U-channel that holds the bottom of the glass was badly rusted and bent and was catching on the sides of the tailgate. Can I replace just that one metal piece or do I have to get the whole rear glass? If I can just replace the metal piece does anyone know where I can pick one up?? Thanks

Dealer sells that part. Not sure but think it is reasonable price on it.

CJ's right. I bought one from the dealership a while back. I can't remember exactly how much, but it was reasonable.

I purchaced some similar sized c-channel from Home Depot and then had the old brackets welded on. Then took the finished piece with my glass to the glass shop and they mounted the glass in the channel for me. Then I reinstalled it. It has been doing the job for about a couple of years now.
