PLOW QUESTION???????

I was wondering if a plow off an 81 Grand Wagoneer would fit on an 80 J-10. Thank you in advance Craig

Probably not. The frame is wider on the J-10 than it is on the wag. If you can get a frame bracket for a J-10 or modify the one from the wag then yes, otherwise no.

Dang it, I was able to get an 81 wag w/ power angle plow for 500.00 Guess I will just have to let this one slip past. Thank you Cecil for replying and saving me the embarasment of finding out the hard way. Craig

THE FRAME IS NOT ANY WIDER THAN THE WAGONEERS ARE AT THE FRONT OF THE J10. THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT IS THE FENDERS. I WOULD SAY YES THE PLOW WOULD FIT. ;)

That is the answer I was looking for. I thought the fronts were the same because of the motor mounts and all.....But I didn't actually measure. Thank you for your input I will measure just to be 100% sure. I think the deal I was offered sounds pretty good. Thanks agian Craig

Yeah I thought it was a fine deal as well. The wag has some problems but nothing alittle tinkering can't fix.

OOPS! Sorry about that. I guess because the narrow trac front end is narrower than the trucks I assumed the frames were too. I didn't even think (typical)!! Hope you didn't miss this deal because of me.
