I need to get some tow hooks on my Jeep at the front. Anybody got a quick trick to mount them? I am not looking for the ultimate tow hook set-up ever, just something that is reasonably good and can be done in a weekend with purchased parts. Any help/pictures would be great!!!

seriously, quick-no, not that I know of. It's a PITA. Anything that I've seen requires alot of fabrication. Unless you want to just use a piece of chain like.....um.......somebody, can't remember who did.

Maybe bend some rebar into a U and weld it to the frame-rails. I've seen that done successfully quite a few times.

I was trying to think of the chain thing too. It was superken or kenall. Mostly involved wrapping chain around the right frame rail and first cross member.
You could do what I have on the J-10 and install some forged eyebolts through the bumper holes in place of bolts, but I have yet to be yanked out by them, but I also couldn't pull down the tree in my backyard before the tires started spinning.
Good luck,

the factory bumper really limits your options, as it covers the bottom corner or the frame.

My parts truck had a pair bolted on foot or so back where those two holes for the three piece bumper support go through the frame. PO had used front hole and drilled second hole to fit and mounted hooks at slightly downward angle.
