How much fluid should the p/s pump spew?

Had a new pump installed about 20K miles or so ago.

Seems to be spewing a bit of fluid under the hood.
Not a lot, but enough to make things a bit messy.

Is this normal?

Where is it "spewing" from? can you tell? no, it is not normal, it should contain all the fluid.

No it shouldn't spew any fluid...that's what the cap is for. ;)
You don't have it over filled do you?

If it's leaking from the back of the pump, it's probably the high pressure hose connection. It's the hard one to get to. May need to be tightened.
