All the gauges work, engine runs smooth. Everything else is pretty beastly.

Big thanks to Hammer for helping this happen.

Nice score. I'm a little jealous. A guy had one for sale in town about a year ago with custom rims and 38 inch swampers for 3k. It was really nice. If the economy was'n't so skrewed up I would have bought it but then he would not have been selling it.

I got all the fire gear out of the back. The brakes and steering aren't near the problem that they were with that extra weight in it.

So far not a sign of leaks at all... other than the one in the roof. But no oil dropping, no coolant... maybe I got lucky.

Totally jealous! I have dreams of buying a M715! Every time I watch re-runs of the A-Team and see Col. Decker roll up in his M715 I start jumping on the couch, giggling like a school girl.

Some day.................

Fire gear removed temporarily so the truck can perform "moving" duty. It drives like what it is, an older rugged truck... but I love it. Tank/Pump/Hose will get a going over before being reinstalled. I will also be trying to find a way to make it more of a one man operation to install and remove the setup.

Thinking of a retractable ramp, kind of like what you find on the back of a U-Haul with a smaller electric winch to move the whole thing.
