New events for 2011

Lets list some 4wd events in the north.

We have

1. Memorial day trail ride at Dresser Wisconsin
2. Anytime trail rides in the MN state park in Gilbert MN
3. The crawl for the cure event in Gilbert MN

Now that I got new paint on the J20 I'll be hitting car shows and cruises this summer...

The Rochester Rough Riders have their Toys for Tots trailride at Donnelys woods in Oct., always a good time (especially if it has rained shortly before the run). Their web site has the schedule/directions.

There are also two other trailides at Dresser, one in August, one in October. You have to be in a participating club to run these, though, but they are way more fun than the Memorial run because there is like 1/10 of the people at the later runs.

I think we are going to hit northern/eastern IA this year. There are some places in those areas we have not been to yet.

Once I get settled in after the move to Iowa (Cedar Rapids), I may have to think about showing up at a couple of these events. It will be a while before I have vacation saved up but I could probably work out weekend road trips here and there.
