the 3" rough country lift is in the garage and i may purchase the 32x11.5 tires today. has anyone here put 32 BFG ATs on a grand wagoneer with a 3" lift and had problems? i'm aware there may be some clearance problems and i was curious whether someone had already tried this and could give me some feedback. i've been told minor trimming may be necessary in front of the rear tire, but that i could get away with not touching the outer fender area. anyone been there/done that? thanks.

looking through some of the rigs on the ifsja site a few had that lift and ran 32's. i have a 3" add a leaf with 31's and no rubbing. it looks like i could run 32's with only minor rubbing. my GW suffers from saggy waggy syndrome on the left side as well. 33's are a definite no no. they will rub.

I just installed 32x11.5 Cooper Wildcat MT's on my rig. See sig for lift info. It does rub on the front rear but only on the drivers side. The reason for this would seem to be that it's 1" lower on the drivers side than the pass side. I have the original leafs for now.
I also notice that the inner side rubs on the inside wheel well a bit.
I could install longer bump stops but am looking into a 4" leaf lift instead. Then I can get bigger tires that will rub and then I will have to do a SOA. Does it ever stop?

as of last night, the 32x11.5 BFGs are on their way. i'll followup with details and photos on the install and where this tire size may be problematic with just a 3" lift. thanks for the help.

Rich,
Did you go for the spring all around? In any case, let me know how it turns out!

since i already had saggy springs in the rear, it was a no-brainer to go with the 4 spring system vs. blocks in the rear. i'll probably gain 4-4.5" on the driver's rear by going with the rear springs, if i get a full 3" out of the system. i currently have a 1.25" difference in the rear, left to right, as it sits. when i bought the 3" lift, i had only planned to go with 31s. i considered the 32s, but when i found the set of BFGs i finally bought, the price was just too good not to give it a try. if things go well, i may have the tires on by next weekend. i'll post here once everything is complete.
