diesel swap axle question.

i see a few people have swapped in the 6.2 or 4bt. but i haven't seen anyone mention the rear axle offset. i'm swapping the 4bt in an 87 GW with 3 inch lift on 33's, and am at a crossroads-th475 with divorced np 205, or 727 O/D(non locking converter) with a mated np241 or 205(1994 and up dodge). i have both transmissions and th475 adapter, no t-case yet. is the offset rear diff really gonna be that much of an issue? maybe with the divorced 205(shorter rear driveshaft). comments?

Replaced my rear diff with a Dodge D60 so cant say anything, but have seen the 6bt swap done leaving the stock diffs where they are so wouldnt think it is that much of a problem. :confused:
