Sams Club carries BFG. They list the T/A but not the M/T. Instead they have a Baja T/A... but it looks a lot like their MT:

This is what BFG shows as the Baja A/T:

4 33/10.50/15s for $385.00

Is this a Walmart/Sams Club exclusive?

That price looks more like the "each" price for the Baja T/A's. You might oughtta check that price again to be sure. Them's some w-a-y-y-y expensive tires!

It better be a magical tire for that price... I'm assuming that's for 4 tires.

yeah, those tires run 380 a piece or so...they are extra heavy duty sidewalled and treaded to endure the the Baja 1000 and such...as most SCORE racers use them.

Ooops... wonder what the &%!* Sams Club is doing selling them.

Guess I'll keep looking.

T/A = "Traction Advantage"
Go to BFG's website, all their tires are "T/A"

A/T-ko = All Terrain
M/T-km = Mud Terrain
Krawler-kx = Rock Crawling

Baja's are terrible on the street. They are an off-road racing tire and $300 each sounds right. They are not made on the consumer casing that the others are.

Baja's have a really stiff sidewall and hard tread compound.

Sams obviously doesnt know what they have, or can get.

Those Baja T/A's came out tops in the $300+ tire test in the Feb. JP magazine. There are actually two models: the ordinary Baja T/A (like the first picture), which costs $439.95 for a 35"x12.5"-15" tire, and the Baja Competition T/A (like the second picture), which costs $483 for a 35"x12.5"-17" tire. They loved the ordinary Baja T/A for everything, but the Comp version was only really good for what it was designed for: high-speed off-road handling.

If they gave you a price of $385 for four, get it in writing and get them on before they realize their mistake! Seriously, that's the usual price for one, and would be a great price on four of ANY of their tires, never mind a Baja T/A.

That would be a great price for four AT's even. I paid like $550 for 4 31" BFG A/T's.

Check that price out, and see if you can get it held. I'll get a membership and buy 4 at that price, feel free to tell them that too!

As a side note, I paid $300 for 5 - 31x10.5R15 BFG AT's a few month back. 4 with about 2000 miles and a brand new spare.

I always say buy used, good used for the DD and mediocre for the part timers.

P.s. Anyone looking for a pair of Mickey Thompsonm Baja Claws? 35x13.5-15, 1/4" tread at the center, almost 1/2" by the edges, and full perfect Side Biters.
