Stopped in at the BJ's Off Road warehouse in Gig Harbor, WA today to pick up a whole bunch of goodies!
And got some exciting insider info that that has not been announced yet!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
They told me that they got a new fabricator locally that will be putting together some new and much dreamed about products.
Most excitingly has to be a full and half roll cages for Wagoneers!!!
Also coming soon will be front skid plates to protect the steering and front axle components!
He talked about other stuff too but I was so excited about the roll cage that I spaced out a little.
Felt like I was in heaven at BJ's, being surrounded by racks of AMC and FSJ parts.
I picked up a new timing cover w/oil pump rebuild kit, Edelbrock timing chain + sprocket set, FlowKooler water pump, FlowKooler thermostat, and AMC lower gasket set.
Had a blast, got some much needed goodies, and can't wait until my wife lets me spend some more money!

That was the other thing, a pre-runner style rear bumper with tire carrier was brought up.
But the roll cage! HECK YEAH!!! There's been one for the Cherokee's but they wouldn't work in the wagoneers! YEE HAW!! I can't wait!

I just pooped a little!
When I left the board, I had just moved to WA from CO, I COMPLETELY forgot that half of BJs was up here!
All the times I thought of something I could build and sell through BJs and figured shipping and logistics would just be too much hassle, well, now I feel like a grade A butt-head!
I've had the notion to make one piece fiberglass front clips, safari racks, steel WT replacement flares, etc etc. Most recently Suzq044 posted some pics of a sweet deerchaser he drew with one of them new-fangled computer picture making thingies. I teased him that I'd have a real one before him. I have the tooling to make one, but no material or FSJ template to fit it too.
It always came down to IF I got off my lazy butt, and IF I built a prototype, THEN I'd have to ship it to them and if they like it, THEN I'd have to manage an inventory and THEN I'd have to ship the product to the customer OR ship it to them which would raise the final price and THEN I'd just forget about it because it's too much hassle.
Thanks for the insider info Sean, and most of all, thanks for reminding me!
EDIT>> I forgot to add razor grill hood crossbars to things I've thought of making...

OH GOD! I almost forgot!!!
This will also make some of you "Poop a little"!
BJ's will also be coming out with a version of the famous Tad Rack!!!! Holy cow, what was I thinkin?!?! My brain isn't working, almost forgot about that one!
Again guys, they told me that this is all stuff in the works and nothing is official yet and all still on the drawing board. But it's still VERY exciting none the less!

I think ClapperC now that he is taking all the time and effort in procuring stainless driprail and rear trim moulding should get in kahoots with BJ's:D
