Weird Electrical Issue

Finished putting in the new motor and everything is working fine except one headlight goes out. So I change it and it still doesn't work. Then my radio, clock and interior lights go out. I have to check the fuses for those but when I click the high beams the driver side light goes out and the passenger light goes on. When I turn off the high beams the passenger side light goes out and the drivers light comes back on. I'm an electrical idiot so any help would be great.

Did you replace alternator with the rebuild? If not (and even if you did), take it out and go down to your local Pep Boys or other auto parts place and have them test it. Our regulator in the old alternator went bad and was putting out about 50 volts! NOT a good thing, and can cause all kinds of electrical gremlins.
