Headlight Wiring Diagram

Having some trouble with the headlights on my 1983 J20. The high beams have stopped working. I have replaced the headlights and the dimmer switch and they still don't work.

Can someone email me the wiring diagram for the headlights? I have most of a service manual for the 1981 year but it has no wiring diagram for the headlights.

I was hoping for a wiring diagram to help me decide where to check the system. Its cold up here and taking an hour in the wind and 25 degree weather to trace the wiring in the various harnesses will not be fun.

A digram will help me narrow the field, so to speak.

If I can't get one, I will just go ahead and trace the wiring out...

Thanks Don, from that diagram, it appears the trouble is likely at the connector labeled "C100". My low beams work, so I know the light switch in the dash is working. I have replaced the dimmer switch so that is good. the only other component between the dimmer and the headlights is the C100 connector.

Anyone know where that connector is located? Could it be part of a larger connector at the firewall?

Rande, take a look along the driver's side fenderwell. You should see a connector along there, close to the headlamps. Might be under the rad overflow/windshield washer tank.
