For anyone wondering about emissions testing and the weber carb for the 6 cyl it can pass emissions at least in NJ. I searched long and hard for info on the net but didn't have much luck. I decided to go for it anyway figuring the weber would run smoother than the carter. Of course we don't have visual inspection in NJ so it just had to pass the sniffer. I scrapped the original air cleaner and hooked up the pvc, and pulse air to the K&N -just barely fit it all, but it was worth the hassle. Hope this helps those of you stuck with the carter.
