No kiddin'! Barely any you-pull yards left in western WA. The only one I still go to is in Arlington, a good hour north of you at least. I was there about a month ago and they had two G-wags pretty well picked over, but I still snagged a roof rack and put it on my Suburban. Looks just like a Burb rack, only shorter, haha!

The same company used to have a yard in Lynnwood, but I don't think they do any more. Their site says they do, but last time I drove by it, it looked empty and closed up.

Also, I check sweaty nipples off road teams web forum classifieds often. About every other month another baby jeeper is chopping up a perfectly good FSJ and parting out everything but the axles.

Thanks guys, I got my local yard, but he has a lot of ford and gm parts. Some cool stuff hiding back in there tho. unfortunately the only amc he has is an old eagle, a few xj and yj and one Comanche.

Cascade Auto Wreckers - 541-451-1797 usually has a couple of wags on hand. Right now they have a 78 wag, 79 NT chero, a 73 J truck, and around a 90 coming up when they get the paperwork done.

Not open on w/e's though. Light stuff I can pull and ship to you for the actual charges. can get me via PM, I check in every week or so, or they can get me from the yard (Art from next door).

A new block, for starters. Turns out on my first trip into the woods I split between the 1st and third bores, which is y i kept finding oil in my coolant and no compression in cylinder 1. Amc 360, that was just rebuilt by po.

360 blocks are a dime a dozen (or should be. Als chop had one awhile back, might still have it, but he is in the Portland area.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish. Not too sure what they have in stock as far as FSJs go, but tons of regular Jeep stuff.

I'm not knocking Oly4x4, they provide an awesome service, but they kind of set themselves apart from the "u-pull-it" croud with there prices. A lot of times they have exactly what I need, but they know I need it and they charge me accordingly!

You are right to post that here though, since the original poster did say "ol' reliables". That's exactly what oly4x4 is, and I'm glad they're only one mountain over from me!

Don't forget Heath in Roy. He has a couple Grand Wagoneers that he parts out. He steals the axles and drive lines to sell to his CJ and Wrangler buddies and parts out the Wagoneers to us. I got a power steering pump from him and will be pulling a motor out for a future rebuild/hotrod project as soon as I have some spare cash.

Woody's in Vancouver has some SJ's parked in out back, and some complete nose assy's as well.

Lynnwood and Arlington both have a Pull-a-part (recently bought by Pick-and-pull). BEST Auto in Lynnwood. Whiteside towing/metals in Clearview (just S of Snohomish), Oly 4x4 in Snohomish (but their prices can be spendy), to name a few.

You've really got to keep your eyes open as most any AMC hits the yard, gets stripped, and disappears to the crusher real quick. Sometimes within the same week.

You can watch craigslist for a parts vehicle, or just shout out on here what you need and see who has it.

Pick-a-part in Albany has a couple of wags - a 77/78 and a final edition grille model. About 40 miles south of Salem.

If you are still looking for a 360, got a 79 that did run, but condition unknown at this time. That is a make offer deal there. Is in Salem or just outside, bubby has it, but is mine.

Old thread buuuuut..... I had an AMC 360 with T18/NP208 from my 82 Honcho I'm selling for $500 for the set, pedals included. It can be heard running, but not till Tuesday the 5th. (I'm off tues/wed) I plan to take a video of it running.
I'll probably have it down to Lynnwood by the 28th.
