I am off on February 19 and I checked Nathan's Boy Scout Calendar and does not appear that he has anything either.
So...Nathan and I can make it.

We meet at Zacks place and root through his parts warehouse look at the Jeeps that people drove and shoot the bull. Then we head to a restaurant and add beer to the equation.
You have to ask really nicely and then we'll think about it. Or you can just show up because you are more than welcome to join in on the drooling BS'ing and beer drinking (not necessarily in that order either).

Fricker's Ribeye Steak sandwich is delicious and my son Nathan enjoys their chicken strips.
I understand if the weather is bad to eat close by, but I really enjoyed Tony Packo's.
That was an awesome.
I hope when we have one of these M&G in better weather that we will return.

Less than 2 weeks away!!! Get your votes in on where to eat. Choices are Frickers, Tony Packos, or Buffalo Wild Wings.
Zack
So looks like Frickers is it? I'd like to know because I intend on staying the night. I prefer really close to where we will be drink.. er.. I mean eating at;) .
I'm working 12 hour days and won't be off work till 1 am Sat. It's a 4 hour drive at best from my house. :fsj:
I will most likely be bringing my dog so I'll need pet friendly lodging. She knows the routine well for being alone in a room. That way I can enjoy this trip.
What time for what and where?
Please put the info in the opening post Rick.

Is there a spring/summer M&G? I'm already spoken for this weekend.

Not typically, we usually do one in mid February and the last couple of years we've had a mid fall gathering. Maybe we can add one to late spring early summer.

Not just for my sake, I can do a mid fall without any problem. I have a birthday to worry about this weekend (youngest son turns 18...)

Sorry, I haven't been on hear lately. We are still on for tomorrow. We can do Frickers if everyone wants. It will be weird, all the snow is melting. Maybe we should move it to Sunday, they are calling for snow ;)
People usually start rolling in around 11 am and we head for lunch around 1. See everyone tomorrow!
Zack
I'll be there. Got to drop off some T Bird parts in St. Mary Ohio then I'll be right up. OR if I leave after I get off work at 1 am I'll drop off the t bird parts Sat PM or Sun am, whenever I leave.
You'll find me sleeping in your lot Sat AM.
I'll be in the 95 F350 Dually, Green , KY plates, with a topper on it and my guard dog Annie. Approach with caution or dog bones, we don't wake pleasantly.

Been there done that.......... got an oil covered and somewhat confused dog to prove it.
Great to see some familiar faces and meet a few more. Zach needs some seedy purple and pink neon lights out front. Geez Louis what a stash of goodies, and what a Saaawwweeeeeet J truck sitting there now.
Bryan I'm not sure what your dog did to mine but she was in a fetal position, wimpering and wanting a cigarette all the way home.;) I think she learned a little lesson in size matters. Good thing yours is also a female.
Thanks Zack
Cya again soon

Dan helped me get the dead j 20 home.....Thanks again Dan! We winched it on my trailer,I towed it home & I unloaded it this morning. It looks like some kind of short in the engine harness,no power to coil, also it looks like the coil died too.If you turn the key on,leave it on for 10 seconds, the wires get hot & start to smoke! But now it started to snow hard,so I can't proceed.Anybody have a spare'87 engine harness?

Ricbee,
I had a similar problem back over the summer with my 86 - J20. It died going down the highway, burning wire has a distinct smell. The ignition wires worked themselves down onto the hot manifold, shorted out and killed the fusible link. This was all done on the passenger side. The fusible links should be right next to the solenoid.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the M & G, had previous commitment.

Got'er running.I pulled the engine harness, peeled back the covering,NO melted wires, but the coil hot was kinda stuck to the other wires but not melted. So I pinned out the important wires, and re-wrapped&installed it.I did notice on the 3-prong plug to the dizzy, the plastic plug was falling apart, and the plugs were green with corrosion, causing high resistance, then an open circuit. So I cleaned the prongs, put some white lith on them, coated it with liquid tape, then wrapped it all in black tape.
