well here is my build i purchased my 79 Cherokee in Flagstaff, Arizona from the previous owners at Vintage Salvage, they were very nice people and easy to deal with. after some negotiation i was able to get it for a little less than the asking price $650.
I used www.uship.com (http://www.uship.com) to find a shipper who could get it to Kansas for the best price, as luck would have it i found a Shipper we made the deal and it arrived here on the November 23rd here are some photos.

The plan right now is to get it running and driving well. Ive already started making mods to it weather permitting it still needs a cleaning and so on, i installed a used 79 grill to replace the busted one seen in the pics im also working on a Cooling fan setup and the transmission issue which will be resolved soon! more pics:

it is in progress too the car is torn apart and long way off but its getting there and it will be going to the body shop this Spring im hoping. while i rebuild the suspension, interior, etc the nose is needing some fiberglassing and so on i have no pics of the car together because the car started out as 70 Charger.. there is no such thing as a 70 Daytona it was one year only thing 1969 which is what the car will like when it is done
I didnt want to take up space so i just posted the links, but this was last winter it has gone through some changes since

Cool beans. Looking good.
Since you have the frame so exposed, and have already found one broken weld, take a really good look where the steering box mounts. The welder I hired to do my critical welds found two cracks in the frame where the steering box mounts, while welding my new shackle mounts.
This would mean you have to take it off the frame, but at this point that's a minor thing to do while it's all tore apart anyways.

The Springs seem ok they need bushings, but other than that they seem fine it is sitting full weight with the exception of the intercooler and radiator..the Soa really helped out a lot!

Nice. Glad to see you're still making progress. I notice a pyrometer probe with your gauges, but no gauge.
FYI- I went with the same VDO style because it has the largest selection of gauges that look the same of any manufacturer. Isspro offers a few more gauges that look almost identical, if you need them. I think I ended up with two of them to monitor things that VDO didn't offer. Side by side they're almost a perfect match.
