Hello Fellow NW FSJer's,
I have been a FSJer for about two years now. The time has come to replace the old mill in my 87 Waggy. Santa came early this year with a 2003 5.3 and 4l60e. I have spent insane amounts of time on IFJSA and several other sites doing my homework. Finally getting to wrench turning time. I stripped the front end sheetmetal last night. Hoping to have the old mill out today or tomorrow. If anyone (here in the NW) is in need of 360/727 or NP229 parts PM me. I have listed everything on Portland CL.
My stretch goal is to be drivable by the end of April.:fsj:
I will post pics as I go.
Gotta say this site and the people who take the time to post here have been a HUGE help. Thanks to ALL.

Thanks, Brizio, this is the CL listing. Have one guy who can't spell asking me if I accept PayPal already. So many scammers on CL, it's kind of sad.
The 360 and 727 came out today, kept it all bolted together to contain the mess a bit. It's a pretty clean unit considering. I still can't believe how rust free these western wagons are. I will try and post a pic...didn't go so good last time so be patient with me!:D

Well...it leaked exhaust (ypipe seam) it leaked oil (until I did the RMS) it leaked tranny fluid (until I had the selector shaft seal replaced) and it leaked antifreeze (until I replaced the waterpump!):D
But I was still a little sad to pull it out. Thanks for the service 360.
Now to find her a new home...
Oh yeah, another Christmas present today.... motor mounts from AA. Those guys have been great to deal with so far. Looking forward to getting back in the garage.

So we've got a few Beaverton FSJ's. I have seen a couple around, and I know I have seen both of you guys here on the board in a bunch of the threads I have gone through, just crazy that you actually live/work in the same neighborhood. We've probably just missed each other at the pic a part in Sherwood!
Took yesterday off from the swap, (giving the wife a break.) I actually need to do some gathering of parts too. And coming to the point that I need to make a decision on which way to go with the wiring.
Hopefully will find a nice NP241c in the next week and also need to decide on how I am going to run the fuel. I see some more archive digging in my future!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone. Hope you all get some FSJ parts under the tree!

Hey, I meant to ask....
Have any of you guys seen the Turquoise GW roaming around Beaverton/Aloha?
I saw it at the Friday Night car cruise at the DQ on Farmington.
Dual exhaust, TOTALLY MINT, Turquoise with wood, older couple, looked to be original owners, just because the thing was totally cherry and well taken care of.
It was probably...definitely the nicest GW I have seen. I had the kids and was across the lot when I saw them drive away. It was about a year ago. I would seriously take a loan to own it...it was that nice. Any of you guys know the one I am talking about?

I saw a turquoise parked close to Fred Meyer in Hillsboro, I don't know if it is the same one.
They still make the Friday gatering at DQ in Farmington? A the Bassit cruise they said that it was canceled forever... :( I think because of the bank, that doesn't want all the cars park around...
Glad that we are a few FSJ in this area!
