spark problem 91? wag

o.k., here's the deal. i went and looked at a 91? grand wag today. he said it was runing fine up until a day or so ago. it lost its spark and would not start. he said it did this once before but it did end up starting the next day. what would be the most likely problem? computer? coil? saomething else?

Could be the pickup coil in the distributor,ign control box.Does it turn over at all?

yes, it does turn over. it just wont start. i want to buy it but i definatly want to hear it run for the price he wants.

I would say it is the pickup unit or the ignition module for sure.

Might want to do a continuity test on the ign switch also.

my guess is the ignition box.

This may sound simple but make sure that the coil wire is attached firmly.
