I have a 3" lift on my 84 Wag & I busted one of my front brake lines rock climbing this weekend. Does anyone know where you can get longer than stock brake lines? Either custom brake lines or does any brake lines fit from other vehichles?
Thanx for any help!

The best thing to do is call Summit Racing Supply 1-800-230-3030. They can get you either Earls or Aeroquip stainless steel braided lines that will also prevent brake fade. Mine were very easy to hook up. If no one at Summit can find them, ask for Reed. He did some legwork but he found them for me. Well worth the extra $$$

im usin stock rubber ones from the 'Zone for a 77 chevy 4wd pickup. theye were i think 17.99 in stock, and ALOT longer than stock. braided hoses are a good idea if you eant to spend the extra $$. i dont thnk the rubber expanding is really hurting my stopping abilities in the woods, plus i actually try to use 'Zone parts whenever possible,in case i need to run to somewhere and get one warantied while were wheelin . there is a 'Zone pretty much everywhere smile.gif

You can get the from Summit Racing, 4 wheel parts Wholesalers, Mepco, National tire and wheel. Basically any 4 wheel drive shop can get there hands on them. I believe the average cost is about 92.00 clams. These are the stainless steel braided lines. If your running 33 or lager tires I would recomend these.
