I'm trying to fit a set of cj5 headlight buckets into the square hole. I have to grind a few spots to fit them, but before I do this, here's my question. The buckets have three headlight directional adjustment points. One with a spring and two with screws. For adjustment purposes, what is the proper configuration for these three points? Spring up, down, to the side etc?

On the buckets for a Gladiator the chrome bezel has a mounting hole that should be on the bottom, and there are two divets in the bezel that allow for adjustment of the bucket screws. If you line the buckets up with those that would be the way that it should be arranged. I imagine that the CJ buckets and bezels are similar---?

If you are using late CJ buckets, there should be a bracket with a slot where the trim ring hangs, and another for the screw that holds the ring in place. The slotted bracket goes to the top, and the screw goes to the bottom( have I confused you yet?). smile.gif The adjusting screws for the headlight should be one on the top and one on the right.
