Prepping our 70 for paint monday morning! Whilst removing the trailer hitch I cleaned up the ID tag on the Dif. It is a limited Slip 3.73! I couldnt be happier and it makes sense! When taking the ride to MAACO for the estimate. I gave her some gas and holy cow that lil buggy took OFF! I was shocked.

How many knuckles did you lose pulling the tail lights?

I dunno, I'd personally miss that mural on the tail gate :D

yeah posi- 3.73 would be a tire chirper for sure. How much was the estimate for what sort of paint job?

I just lost sone skin. Maaco estimate for presidential paint job is 1021.00
I'll be sure to take some real good photos when it's finished.

I want to remove the rear chrome around the tailgate. But I cant figure out how.

Wife and I will clean all the remove pieces this week.

It has clips inside the trim that secure to a lip. Carefully insert a long screwdriver and *gently* pry it off (start from the bottom, going inside the trim upwards...not prying from the side of the trim). Take your time and it wont bend.

i guess a grand is cool, go for it
