Overhead Lights part dos

My overhead light is not working either, but mine is an 8s, so no fancy console. Open the front doors and the floor lights go on, but no overhead. open the rear doors and the cargo light goes on, but no overhead light. th ebulb is ok, and neither map light works either. There are two wires going to the lamp, and they both have 12v to them, door open or closed. But if you connect one to a light and ground it, the light will still not light up. Normally all of this wouldn't bug me,but it gets dark at 4:30 now!!

Have you tried replacing the bublb?
