...by Fri night?

I bought a wag with a tick, thought I'd take it on a run next weekend, Sat starting in the morning, but I don't think the engine is going to make it. I got another here with 40K less miles on it nearly half way out, not sure if I'll run the noisey one, try to change it, or forget about it.

At least there's progress on my 87 J20, body guy had the driver's rocker welded on, and I drilled holes, test fit bolted down the factory roll bar today.

I have to do clutch, trans/TC seals and some other MISC stuff on the plow truck before snow too.

I did forget the camera to get pics of the driver's rocker that got welded on, but I do have other pics of the project here...

I got the tools to do it, it's just the time, I also got an Audi engine to put back together, a railroad truck to fix, an S10 intake, and who knows what else at work this week, and that's before everyone is beating down the door on Mon morning. I stopped at the local NAPA after Church, and got a line on an 89 wag with a dead frame and rebuilt engine/trans so I may just hold out for that.

If I get the J20 done in a few weeks, maybe I'll bring the wheels over with that, the gate guy in RI is MIA again, but may be working out a deal to get one from your side of the border.

Looks better than my 82 plow truck, as ugly as it is though the cab/frame are pretty solid. The wag is not bad for a MN truck, I don't know if it always lived here. The 87 J20 I bought from the origional owner I knew the truck since new is part of the reason I bought it, it had what you might expect for a MN farm truck with 62K on it, the PO's nephew runs a body shop and did from door handles down once, he's one of these guys that won't do it for you the cheap way, well uncle got the cheap way by the time I got it it started to show.

With all the weather issues here I didn't change the engine, put in a quart of Lucas with 20W50 oil to keep pressure, ran the car cruise ticked and rattled and ran just fine, but the exhaust fell off a mile from home.:D
