Yesturday i threw in a quart of ATF in my wag, it sat over night and all day to day, i had a icecream pail under the leak and it leaked out about 200*300 milliters of it, it is leaking out of a spot where there are bolts bolting together something on the tranny, please tell me i dont have to drop the tranny just to replace that seal.

WHAT IS THE"BOLTED TO SOMETHING"? LIKE THE ENGINE!! GASKET OR SEAL WOULD BE A GOOD GUESS!!! WHY NOT DO THE EASY THING FIRST!! ADD SOME KIND OF TRANS STOP LEAK REPAIR IN A CAN :D :D

. .I only measure leaks by the linear foot (in the UK by the league)..but will a icecream pail hold a fathom of oil?? ..
Tranny sealers have worked well I my TH-400 my 727 has never leaked  .....good luck... ;) ..ds..

Don -- i grew up in England, but that was before the onslaught of metrics. The primary fluid measure there is now the hectare.
Sorry to have to stoop to reason...
