Are there any good kits out there that bolt into GW's? Or are they all custom and welded in by individuals. I would like like a 6pt that bolts in/out so I can still get to items around the dash areas if need be.

the few sets I've seen members here have are always custom built....you may be able to retrofit one made for another rig but ours are a bit out of the mainstream so there wouldn't be much profit in a mass production run IMHO...

the only one that is commercially produced for an FSJ is for the Cherokee. It will 'fit' in a Wag / GW, but it will block the rear door. You'd have to have something custom made. Might check with a local Jeep club and see if someone there has a bender / welder. One can be made that will fit and be to your specifications.....and might cost some $$ & beer.

Care to elaborate on that Cherokee cage? I'd be interested in checking it out but not sure if it'll pass SFI cert being that it's designed for off road not drag racing.

Ghinmi, for insurance reasons it's called a 'sports bar' instead of a roll cage. I have one in the Beater and it's pretty stout with floor plates. But, in order for it to meet the track, you'd need to mate it to floor plates under the body that tie to the frame. For what you're doing, I'd recommend finding someone that is qualified to build NHRA cages and drop the 2k or so it would take for a real safety race cage.
