...and I deleted all the PM's the from the fellow Michigan member that was asking me about the 1979 J20 that was in Butler, Indiana, not far from me.

Does it have a TH400/QT or a T18/Dana20?

Sorry brian that was me. I called the owner could not come up a title or a way to get a new one. Played phone tag for a few days then i backed out all together. not worth it for a no title truck. Sorry i didnt get ahold of you before.

I just saw that J20 still posted on CL and was just wondering about the details.

I like we both agree, without a title, that truck is near worthless as complete rig. Parts donor only.

You could legally register as "rebody" if you had a title to a rusted out/crushed J20.
