I've got a 76 Honcho that I'll be painting the original Nautical blue with the billboard honcho decals. I have the original 10 slot white wagon wheels but I'm not crazy about the look. I do like the wagoneer wheels both silver and the silver with gold inlay. I'm looking for photos and opinions on which wagoneer wheel you guys think will look better on my truck.

If you are going with blue I would consider the Jeep chrome spoke wheels. They would look great against the blue and are true to that time period. An alternative would be to get slot mags. Here are some pics of the chrome spokes on my '72. At 15x8 with a 31-10.5-15 tire they would look great on a wide track. Another option would be the aluminum wheels put on some wags/cheros in the late 70's with the rounds holes. Not sure what to call them but they look like the classic Eagle Alloys 186 style wheels. A little harder to find but they are out there.

Here's mine with Waggy 12 slot alloy wheels with gray insets. My signature link is a higher res. photo.

What size tire are you going to run? I tried Wagoneer aluminum wheels with 12.5" wide tires on my old Honcho and the tires rubed my rear springs.

I had to switch back to the stock 15x8 wheels.

Those GW wheels really jump out against the tutone blue and satin black muscle grille in the hi-res pic.
THAT is some beautimous truck Dave!
