I'm willing to pay 1,000 to 2,000 dollars for any good rig that you can drive away.
if it needs work 500-600

Id hate to see them go to scrap prices...then everyone will want one but if they price the same as a comparable vehicle (ie, Blazer/Bronco) then theyll be overpriced IMHO because Blazers/Broncos go for some pretty ridiculous prices even for worn out, rusted out, junk box ones.

I like where they have been the past few years, I only paid over $1K for one of the group listed in my sig.

I may not be the norm... As I want to have now what I couldn't afford when I was younger. 20 years ago my GW had (have a copy of) a sticker-price of 30k... Way out of my reach at the time. So to recreate what I missed, I'd pay above the so-far voted-on curve. That's just me! Crist

:( If they keep staying the $500-$1,500 range for decent rig's they'll be all gone, i think an FSJ should Average $4,500 that way you got some at $6,000 and some at $3,000 . . . That way not as many get destroyed . . . Yet that leaves plenty of $1,500 buys for us Poor guys or at least me . . .
 I'm not CHEAP  I am POOR :o rather Monetarily challenged :(

MikeCould'nt help noticing the 53 Studey, I had a 53 1/2 ton and a 64 T cab. Studebaker is still the most under-valued of all the classics. I'd hate to see any classic hit scrap value, alot of cool stuff has been turned into thow away crap by the Chinese.

I wish I could find one that runs for less than 2500. Exhaustive craigslist searches yield nothing more than sub 500 dollar examples that need everything or 3000+ that are in great original shape and need little if anything. Where are the thousand dollar runners?

I would'nt own another early Bronco, talk about over valued......although I bought it for 6k.......resold it for 10k...:o
I see no reason why a well kept FSJ should'nt hold it's value and increase in the kool factor.......their size might be holding them back.

Utility value is good, keeps the parts coming and you knoe u always have something that is worth more than its weight in scrap.

I'd prefer they were worth a little more ... then the non-hobby owners would take better care of them, or offer them for sale.
