Increased gas mileage

I increased my gas mileage from 9.5 to 12 miles a gallon.
I plugged a hole on the exaust system and put in a motor flush when i changed the oil.

You're talking highway mpg right? You must be talking hwy mpg. I say this because the city/hwy mpg ratings for a 1990 GW are 11/13 (which is also about what I get on my Chief). A gallon of gas only contains a certain amount of potential energy capable of moving the weight of our vehicles around at a maximum efficiency. And that 11/13 is pretty much maxed.

Yes PhilSine It is hwy mileage.
God knows what city is...maybe 8??

i get about 10 city if i dont run a/c and 14 on the freeway,13 with a/c on. ;)
