I know it will all depend on condition and what not, but generally speaking about what kind of height could I expect from adding in a second main leaf? Or maybe a extra second leaf.
I'd like to get 1", and I haven't found an AAL that will get me that little lift.
This is a 80's Waggy main leaf into an 80's Waggy spring pack.

Even if the AAL didnt add so much height they stiffen the ride of the pack. I had AALs once and they compared to the bogger packs that were on my '76 Chero. :(
Not sure how much height you'd get out of the main or even the 2nd leaf, but if you have both you could experiment with both not only for ride height but also for ride quality!

BTDT. Not worth the effort. You don't gain much more than the thickness of the leaf on the rear and VERY little difference on the front. I'd just go for the AAL if you don't mind a slightly stiffer ride.

My front springs are pretty beat (softer then stock ride) so a bit stiffer shouldn't matter much.
I just don't want the 2+ inches AAL's offer. I'd really just like one extra inch.
I could also just buy new springs, but trying to be cheap about it.
